It can be so difficult when looking for those interesting or even exotically locations, non of which seem to be English speaking countries. Such as central and eastern Europe, asia and the middle east. Those locations, such a temptation for the decreeing traveler and the migrant worker. It seems such a pipe dream. However there is one form of employment that doesn’t seem to be affected by the economy as much as industries that seem to be faltering.
Teaching English, something that my friends have been suggesting as a means of traveling the world ever since returned from NZ. As it looked into this further I realized that that it is possible to be considered even without a degree.
All that is required is that all important TEFL qualification. Providing the required training. There are varying costs, the cheapest option being an internet course. The most expensive way is to chose a school in or near the country you would like to teach. Some language schools even assisting or guaranteeing a job upon completion.
Certainly something that is worth considering, what could be a game changer if a career in English teaching could await. If you are a native or fluent English speaker you are already in a clear advantage.
