Queen’s Wharf, Auckland
Queen's Wharf in Auckland received a makeover in time for the 2011 Rugby World Cup. If you are fortunate enough to come to the city of sails by cruise ship this could well be the place that you see first. Its transformation from a private working wharf to public space is now completed and is there for the city to enjoy.
There are many events, including the Royal New Zealand Navy band. There are of course other music events not just Brass musical instruments, like those at amazing Bugles at WWBW. The newest edition to Queen's Wharf is The Cloud.

Although interestingly, this is temporary structure that is designed to last 20 years. So there is of course plenty of time to see it. It does look quite contrasting seeing its unique designed surrounded by traditional and more conventional modern architecture.
