Useful Tool from Google Inc: Google Analytics

Google Analytics is really a wonderful tool to help you analyze the information on your web site. It is also free and has become an industry standard for those who want to optimize the performance of their website.

If you are working in digital marketing or want to fully use the power of the Internet for your business, becoming a Google Analytics Certified Individual (GAIQ) is essential. Getting GA Certification can increase your desirability of labour market, make you more valuable as an employee, and prove that you have acquired new skills.

This page has just been bookmarked! I'd add one more to the list of reasons to get GAIQ'd after "increase your desirability in the job market, make you more valuable as an employee, and prove that you have mastered a new skill" - it can be further be stressed that anyone in a client-facing role at a SEO, PPC company, or whatever else can assure prospective clients "Your budget is safe with me!"

The last time I took the exam was about a month ago and there wasn't a single item about Universal Analytics, but there surely will be at some point. Think that will be the next revision to GAIQ guides?

My worry about losing the Queen

My worry about losing the Queen would be that she would still be entitled to take money from the Crown Estates. I hope when negotiations are taking place after the referendum, that the SNP would not go soft on this and on a number of other matters, like being over generous with the entitlement...

How to get indoor an orchids to grow and bloom?

The thing which, apart from Climate Gate, really knocked them sideways was that bitterly cold December 2013.

Louise wouldn't remember it because she was with Chris Huhne in Cancun at the time and kept telling us how warm it was poolside — while it was –15ºC here and...
